Join Dr. James Engelhardt as he explores the intersection of writing, history, and place. Using his experience as a published poet, Dr. Engelhardt will lead a writing seminar, outlining his career in both academia and the world of publishing.

Dr. Engelhardt is a published poet and lecturer at Furman University. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He spent five years as the acquisition’s editor at the University of Alaska Press. His published works include Bone Willows, a collection of poetry that catalogs his move to Alaska with his family.
