Hands-On History Hour

Hands-On History Hour, a program designed for elementary students, encourages engagement with history through artifacts and interactive learning.
Each program consists of an introduction with relevant background information and a related craft. Children will have the opportunity to interact with relevant artifacts and historical replicas, allowing them to connect past and present objects.

Indigenous Americans in Colonial America
Explore Native American life in colonial Upstate South Carolina as we learn about the Cherokee and Catawba Nations. Enjoy an indigenous-inspired craft while learning history through hands-on engagement and games.
