Film of the Week
April 13, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Each week we will recommend a new film that either highlights local, Upcountry history or one of our changing exhibitions. Explore history from the comfort of your couch and then make a trip out to the Museum once we are able to reopen our doors.
WEEK ONE
For the week of April 6, we encourage you to learn about the Underground Railroad and the conductor that earned the title of “Moses” by watching the movie, Harriet. The story of heroic abolitionist, Harriet Tubman, is told in this 2019 film, following her escape from slavery through the dangerous missions she led to liberate hundreds of slaves through the Underground Railroad.
