Digging Our History

Unearth the connection between archaeology and history with a mini “dig” to find artifacts left behind by Native Americans. This lesson meets SC standards for 2nd-4th grade, and is designed for children ages 7-10 years old.

WHAT: History Homeschool Day

WHEN: Every last Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Upcountry History Museum

HOW: Open to children ages 7-10 years old

WHY: Get hands-on with local history while incorporating SC Social Studies standards

COST: $9 per student & $10 per adult

UHM MEMBERS COST: $5 per student & Adults are FREE
