DESCRIPTION:Connections Café is a monthly program at the Upcountry History Museum\, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. Each meeting offers a fun and relaxed way for people living with early-stage memory loss to get connected with one another through social events that promote interaction and companionship.  This is a place where the care partner can receive information while connecting with other care partners. The program utilizes the unique setting of the History Museum to explore topics both from the past and the present through gallery tours and hands-on activities. \nAdmission is FREE to guests.

Admission to the Connections Café is free.

Thanks to generous grant support the Museum is open on the first Thursday evening of every month for Neighborhood Nights.  Neighborhood Nights will run from 5:30-8:30 pm during which time admission to the museum and all museum exhibitions will be FREE. \nNeighborhood Nights will include story times for younger visitors and book give-a-ways for children. Books will be connected to the theme of the current Main Gallery exhibition. \nWe hope that through Neighborhood Nights we can show that museums are available for families regardless of economic constraints.
