DESCRIPTION:Narwhal: Revealing an Arctic Legend \nDive in and explore the science of the “unicorn of the sea.” Students will learn about the history and biology of the Narwhal and their ecosystem. \nThis Smithsonian traveling exhibition features an 18-foot fiberglass model of an adult male narwhal as well as panoramic images of their Arctic environment. Experience the enormity of the spiral-tusked mammal while incorporating STEM education goals. \n\nWHAT: UHM Homeschool Day\n  \nWHEN: Friday\, April 19 | 1:30 p.m.\n  \nWHERE: Upcountry History Museum\n  \nHOW: April’s Homeschool Day is open to children in 1st-12th grade.\n  \nWHY: Meet the “Unicorn of the Sea” while exploring the Narwhal: Revealing an Arctic Legend exhibition from the Smithsonian.\n  \nCOST: $10 per student & $12 per adult\n  \nUHM MEMBERS COST: $6 per student & Adults are FREE\n  \n\n  \n \n  \n
