DESCRIPTION:Digging Our History\nUnearth the connection between archaeology and history with a mini “dig” to find artifacts left behind by Native Americans. This lesson meets SC standards for 2nd-4th grade\, and is designed for children ages 7-10 years old. \n\n\n\n\nWHAT: History Homeschool Day\n\n\nWHEN: Every last Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.\n\n\nWHERE: Upcountry History Museum\n\n\nHOW: Open to children ages 7-10 years old\n\n\nWHY: Get hands-on with local history while incorporating SC Social Studies standards\n\n\nCOST: $9 per student & $10 per adult\n\n\nUHM MEMBERS COST: $5 per student & Adults are FREE\n
