Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to the Upcountry History Museum and its mission. It’s also a fun way to support your community and celebrate our history!

We have a variety of opportunities to fit your schedule and interests. Whether you enjoy working with the public at our front desk, assisting with special events, or teaching children about history, there’s a place for you here.  Candidates must be 16 years of age or older to be considered. Descriptions of our volunteer opportunities can be found by clicking on the following link:

Volunteer Opportunities  –  Orientation and Training Sessions are offered seasonally.

How to Apply

Volunteer applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Everyone who has submitted an application will be invited to attend an orientation session. Volunteer assignments are based on the needs of the Museum and the applicant’s interests and skills.

To apply please send a resume with cover letter stating why you are interested in volunteering at the Museum and what volunteer opportunities you are most interested in pursuing. Cover letters and resumes may be emailed to our Director of Education and Programs, Kristen Pace, at kristen@upcountryhistory.org, or:
