Manzanar: The Wartime Photographs of Ansel Adams
On February 19, 1942, following the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, a mandate that required all Americans of Japanese ancestry to enter internment camps.
Learn about daily life inside the Manzanar internment camp with special guest, Dr. Stephanie Hinnershitz, historian for The National WWII Museum | New Orleans.

HOW: October 15 is open to children in 5th-12th grades.
WHY: Get hands-on with history and art while incorporating state standards
