The Far-Away Dream: My Vietnam Memoir

Retired Naval Chaplain Rev. Dr. David Crum is the striking young face with the haunting blue eyes featured in one of the photographs from Picturing Nam: U.S. Military Photography of the Vietnam War from the National Archives. Join Dr. Crum in person to learn the story behind the photograph and how his experiences in Vietnam helped him find his calling. Dr. Crum’s book The Far-Away Dream will be available for sale at the event.

Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. with program at 6:00 p.m.

Museum Members are FREE.
Tickets are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors/students with ID, $7 for children ages 4-18. Children 3 and under are free.
