Hands-On History Hour

Hands-On History Hour is a program designed for elementary students to encourage engagement with history through artifacts and interactive learning.
Each hour consists of an introduction and some relevant background information as well as a related craft. Attendees will also have the chance to interact with relevant artifacts and historical replicas to allow them a chance to connect the past to present objects.

Indigenous Americans in Colonial America
Children will learn about Native American life in colonial Upstate South Carolina. They will have an opportunity to handle artifacts, create a related craft, and engage with history with museum staff.
This program is included with your general admission and FREE to UHM Members.
